Branwood was transformed into a delightful witches cavern to celebrate Halloween this year.
The children arrived to school dressed as pumpkins, Harry Potter, little monsters and lots of skeletons to name just a few.
School dinners were somewhat different with the choice of “maggot stew with eyeballs”, “green snail slime surprise with blood sauce” and “witches brew with creepy cookies”. Thankfully these were just new names for meatballs, macaroni and strawberry milkshake.
The children fully enjoyed their lunch time feast which was followed by a selection of interactive games such as pin the cat on the witches broom, throw the beanbag in to the bucket and find the bag of sweeties hidden in the gloopy gunge.
Big thank you to the spooky subcommittee for putting on such an enjoyable event and of course to Mrs Hamilton and her team in the kitchen.
